Observation from roadside or from a boat on the lake.

The area

A small roadside lake in an isolated, peaceful area. One side of the lake is accessible only by boat.

If you would like to take a boat ride in an exceptionally tranquil spot, this is the lake for you. The adjacent marsh offers beautiful views and birds to spot from the road or from your boat.

Birds to watch for

A pair of Ospreys is frequently sighted at this lake. Other notable species to be seen are the magnificent Wood Duck and the Olive-sided Flycatchers.
Osprey, Northern Harrier, Wood Duck, Upland Sandpiper (near by), Olive-sided Flycatcher, Willow Flycatcher.
