You can see birds on either side of Chemin Breault or at the end of a short trail off Chemin Houle.

The area

You can explore this little known but exceptional site by canoe or simply from the roadside. Situated amid rolling farmland, the Meder Marsh is a place of quiet repose.

From either the roadside or your canoe, you will see an abundance of birds— particularly waterfowl.

Birds to watch for

Virginia Rail, Wood Duck, American Wigeon, Boreal Chickadee, Green-winged Teal.
